Get ready to power up your Minecraft world! In this exciting camp, students will create their very own super-tools, design fun or fearsome custom mobs, and invent tasty new foods to keep their characters energized. Using MCreator for Minecraft: Java Edition, students will learn the basics of coding logic while building and testing their mods. Each day combines step-by-step projects with creative time to explore new ideas. Bring your imagination, teamwork, and a USB drive. Students should be comfortable using a computer. Bring your favorite video game worlds to life by creating Nintendo-inspired characters with TinkerCAD while learning essential 3D design skills. Students will model unique creations in three dimensions, experiment with shapes and structures, and transform their digital ideas into real objects using 3D printers. While prints are finishing, campers can join Nintendo-themed challenges and even design their own video games inspired by the characters they love. Each student will have two small printed projects sent home. Printing and material fees are included. Bring a USB drive on the last day. Join us for an exciting week of game design! This course will give you hands-on experience developing your own game. Students will create their own version of asteroids from scratch, using construct 3, a visual coding platform that teaches students the basics and structure of programming. Computer skills are needed (this includes good keyboard and mouse skills). Bring a USB drive to save your games on the last day.

Students will begin by building robotic beasts and monster machines such as a Robo-Dog, Mega-Gorilla, Insectoid Bot, and the Scorpion Warrior. Once their robots are built, they’ll dive into programming to make them move, attack or even think on their own. This hands-on camp is both fun and educational, teaching the foundations of building, coding, and problem solving through robotics. Working in teams, students will then be challenged to modify and re-engineer their robots to become better, stronger, and faster. Every day brings new opportunities to create, experiment, and compete.

Hack into the code of classic games! Students will learn Java coding skills while modifying games such as Asteroids, Tetris, Snake, and more! Coding beginners and more experienced students will love this class. This fun class is our staff and students' favorite codling class. Java is a text-based language, so students should have good keyboarding and basic computer skills. Bring a USB drive to save your games.

Curious about how hackers think and love solving puzzles? In this hands-on camp, you will explore Python coding, ethical hacking, and cybersecurity through interactive games and code-cracking challenges. Build your coding skills by creating mini-projects and programming your own cyber defense game. Experiment with secret codes, test password strength, and train on specialty websites designed for safe practice. Compete in Capture-the-Flag contests that challenge your logic, teamwork, and creativity. Learn how hackers operate, and how to stop them, while developing real-world problem-solving skills and thinking like an ethical hacker who protects, not attacks.

YouTube is the top destination for online videos, and now you can learn how to create your own Let’s Play! In this camp, students will capture a PC gaming session and add a voice-over to bring their gameplay to life. In the first half of camp, they’ll learn tricks filmmakers use for better shots, practice capturing gameplay, and add sound effects. In the second half, students will edit short videos, adding transitions and a soundtrack. Bring a USB drive (at least 8 GB) on the last day to save your project.
