Work as a team to create a custom Skyblock World in Minecraft. Use creativity and Redstone to create this floating world! The Bed Wars game mode for Minecraft is a type of strategic PVP game where you have to protect your bed while trying to eliminate your opponents on islands in the sky. Along the way, we’ll explore other thrilling game modes, test strategy and teamwork. Students will get a copy of the world map to take home and expand on. Basic computer skills are needed. Bring a bit of magic to life by creating your own pendant and wand with TinkerCAD while developing real 3D design skills. Students will learn how to model objects in three dimensions, experiment with shapes and structures, and apply their creativity to digital design projects. Along the way, they will take part in Harry Potter–inspired challenges and create themed video games while waiting for their 3D prints to finish. In this camp, students will design using starships, droids and other star war characters to build intergalactic scenes, then bring them to life by creating their own stop-motion animated short film. Alongside moviemaking, they’ll dive into Star Wars–themed coding activities, learning how to create games and interactive projects inspired by the saga. Start your engines and get ready to race! In this high-energy camp, students will use LEGO® Robotics to design, build, and program cars and dragsters powered by motors and sensors. Working in small teams, they’ll explore different car models, learn how programming brings machines to life, and tackle fun challenges along the way. On the final day, campers put their creations to the test in an epic racing tournament! Perfect for kids who love speed, teamwork, and hands-on building.

The ancient craft of jewelry making meets modern technology as students use TinkerCAD and 3D printers to design earrings, rings, pendants, and more. Have a blast using LEGO® Technics engineering kits to explore the world of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in a team-based environment. During each session, we will explore new engineering principles, such as gears, wheels, levers, and pulleys. Then, we will build working theme park rides and machines that reinforce concepts learned. After each building project, students will customize, share, compete in challenges, and enjoy experimenting with their creations. Possible models include catapult games, crazy floors, merry-go-rounds, go-karts, moving clowns, popcorn carts, and more. Students will be working in pairs.

Making it move is the name of this game! Students will love seeing their creations in motion using IR remote control Lego Mindstorm Components. Learn more about science, engineering, and technology while having FUN through hands-on projects. Students will explore robotic concepts in small teams by working through step-by-step projects and example programs. They will then have the opportunity to modify the builds and programs.

In this camp, students will learn the basics of the game, design their own character, and take part in a one-shot adventure filled with creativity and teamwork. Beyond the tabletop, they’ll explore D&D-inspired STEAM activities, including designing their own D&D-themed video game. This blend of storytelling, problem solving, and design brings the magic of D&D to life in new and engaging ways. Students should bring a USB drive on the last day to save their creations.

Students may construct a catapult, ninja star, tank, battle axe, crossbow, and more in this camp! Students will be working in pairs.

They’ll explore how to build environments, add characters, and bring their ideas to life with simple coding. Unleash your imagination as you journey through the wide-ranging world of LEGO® building. Working in pairs, students will build models and discuss the engineering science behind each creation. This engaging, hands-on class shows how engineering can be both silly and educational at the same time. Students will then be challenged to improve and customize their designs for added creativity. Possible projects include the never-look-back machine, skittletops, do-nothing machine, coat hanger daredevil, trapdoor cable car, parachute machine, rubber band racer, and other wild contraptions.

Don't Just PLAY games. CREATE them! Create and learn to modify our Star Wars-themed games using Scratch. Students will be walked through step-by-step tutorials to create 2-3 working games and animations using popular Star Wars sprites.
