Bring your favorite video game worlds to life by creating Nintendo-inspired characters with TinkerCAD while learning essential 3D design skills. Students will model unique creations in three dimensions, experiment with shapes and structures, and transform their digital ideas into real objects using 3D printers. While prints are finishing, campers can join Nintendo-themed challenges and even design their own video games inspired by the characters they love. Each student will have two small printed projects sent home. Printing and material fees are included. Bring a USB drive on the last day. Get ready for a week of building, coding, and competing! This camp combines the creativity of the LEGO building system with the excitement of robotics. Students will team up in groups of two to three to design and build their own LEGO robots, bring them to life with block-based programming, and take on daily challenges that inspire teamwork and problem solving. Students will build learning models to understand key robotics concepts, then customize and modify their design to take on new challenges. From fun mini-missions to final competitions, including target-hitting games and an action-packed robot sumo battle, every day is packed with hands-on learning and excitement. In this camp, students will design using starships, droids and other star war characters to build intergalactic scenes, then bring them to life by creating their own stop-motion animated short film. Alongside moviemaking, they’ll dive into Star Wars–themed coding activities, learning how to create games and interactive projects inspired by the saga. Minecraft has been a sandbox-building game dominating the world of video gaming for the past several years. Collaborate with fellow students to construct a city! Each day includes themed building challenges and dissussion on improving construction techniques. Beginners and experienced Minecrafters alike will love this action-packed camp!
