Bring your favorite video game worlds to life by creating Nintendo-inspired characters with TinkerCAD while learning essential 3D design skills. Students will model unique creations in three dimensions, experiment with shapes and structures, and transform their digital ideas into real objects using 3D printers. While prints are finishing, campers can join Nintendo-themed challenges and even design their own video games inspired by the characters they love. Each student will have two small printed projects sent home. Printing and material fees are included. Bring a USB drive on the last day. Get ready for a week of building, coding, and competing! This camp combines the creativity of the LEGO building system with the excitement of robotics. Students will team up in groups of two to three to design and build their own LEGO robots, bring them to life with block-based programming, and take on daily challenges that inspire teamwork and problem solving. Students will build learning models to understand key robotics concepts, then customize and modify their design to take on new challenges. From fun mini-missions to final competitions, including target-hitting games and an action-packed robot sumo battle, every day is packed with hands-on learning and excitement. Perfect for kids who love to build, code, and compete!

Yes, we CAN learn about robotics! With the LEGO® WeDo robotics system, young children can build and program their robotic creations. Designed by the experts at MIT, this unique system teaches children about simple machines, engineering, programming, and so much more. Young imaginations soar! The LEGO® Education WeDo Robotics Builder class allows students to explore different concepts in robotics. Possible models may include dancing birds, a hungry alligator robot, goal kicker robot, a rescue plane, and a smart spinner robot. Students will be working in pairs.

From a galaxy far, far away, your Star Wars adventure begins! In this camp, students will design using starships, droids and other star war characters to build intergalactic scenes, then bring them to life by creating their own stop-motion animated short film. Alongside moviemaking, they’ll dive into Star Wars–themed coding activities, learning how to create games and interactive projects inspired by the saga. Get a great head start in learning how to code as well as learning computer science concepts using one of the fundamental programming languages of professional developers: Python. Its syntax allows programmers to express concepts in fewer lines of code than possible in languages such as C++ or Java, making it the perfect coding language for beginners. Python is a text-based language, so students should have good keyboarding and basic computer skills. Bring a USB drive to save your games on the last day.

Build, Battle, and Conquer! Get ready for epic LEGO® model battles in our RC Battles camp! Design, build, and program your own remote-controlled LEGO® models to compete in thrilling challenges. Learn strategies to develop effective tactics for winning battles. Apply engineering principles to design and build models that are both powerful and durable. Students will be working in small teams of 2-3.
