Extreme Robo-Games: Battlebot Olympics
Students will team up in groups of two to three to explore the LEGO® Mindstorms robotic system and specialized Technic™ engineering components. Each day, they will design and program robots to take on exciting Olympic-style challenges that test strength, speed, and creativity. Throughout the camp, students will be encouraged to re-engineer their creations, making them stronger, faster, and more innovative. Possible projects include a shot put launcher, flipping gymnast, and sumo-bot, along with other high-energy challenges that inspire teamwork and problem solving.

Robot Programming.
What students will do
- Build and program LEGO robots
- Compete in daily engineering challenges
- Learn sensors, motors, and programming basics
- Understand basic programming logic using block-based code
- Apply engineering principles to design functional robots
- Build teamwork and iterative problem-solving skills
- Build a shot put launcher, flipping gymnast, and sumo-bot
- Compete in Olympic-style robot challenges
